As the concluding module on this year level, students where expected to integrate the knowledge and skills obtained throughout this course, in order to produce a motion design solution that comprises of the integration of digital video footage, animated sequences and typography, and set to a soundtrack that complements the visuals. During the course of this term students are guided to create an animated short-film reinterpreting an already existing literary work. Students are expected to integrate the techniques studied during the previous modules to deliver a creative short film with a communicative function. Guided through thorough research on the technological processes and concise audience analyses, students engage with animation with a thorough awareness of media integration and effective communication.
